These works on canvas, board and paper have been inspired by a range of celestial events, seas, and mountains viewed and imagined. They include blood moons, solar and lunar eclipses, and moon rises. I am especially captivated by the expanse of the ocean, and the ever-changing interplay of sky and water.
Some of these were done while looking across the Columbia River in Astoria Oregon, or sitting by the Pacific Ocean in Northern California; others while hiking in the Austrian and Swiss Alps.
